Set in a rural setting, this studio enjoys a quiet location, yet is only 1 mile from the nearest beach.

Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed courtyard. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the courtyard.

Enjoying a peaceful village setting, this well-presented, detached, single-storey property is perfect for couples and offers studio style accommodation. The property is just a few minutes’ drive from both the former fishing village of Moelfre and the bustling seaside resort of Benllech.

The location is perfect for exploring both coast and countryside. The nearby coastal path offers wonderful walking and Anglesey’s beaches are clean and fabulous. It is also within easy reach of historic market towns, fine castles and many visitor attractions. The magnificent mountain scenery of the Snowdonia National Park and a myriad of outdoor pursuits are also easily accessible. Beach 1 mile. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 500 yards.

    Lovely compact cottage, every thing we needed. Felt very comfortable. Very nice area, good places to eat only short distance by car. Excellent walks for dogs. Would recommend and book again.

    Overall fantastic just a pity about the shower couldn't do it upgrading and the Courtyard is slightly too small

    We had a good time at the lodge,it was clean, neat and tidyand the welcome pack was great. The only slight problem was that on arrival we could not open the key pad and when we contacted the number given for the local contact it went straight to voice mail and nobody ever contacted us . As it so happened we eventually managed to open it when we got the hang of it. The only other small matter was that we could not get HOT water at any of the sinks only at the best asmall amount of tepid water. But overall had a great time, and the locals we spoke to were very friendly.

    It's a very warm,clean and comfortable cottage in a quiet location with everything you'd need and close to beaches and good walks.

    The cottage was poorly lite and poorly heated only two fires and these were mobile heaters once you moved away from them, The cottage was cold the bathroom had a leek the lighting was poor in there and very cold no heating the amergion heater didn't heat the water no matter how long you had it on the bed was lumpy the cottage was advertise with off road parking next to cottage you had to park across the road on scrub land no Netflix's phoned the vendor but this was not fixed in the time I stayed there also supposed to be a pation area and a garden area this was not the case the gate was not able to keep closed had to drag the bench to behind the gate so the dogs didn't get out I really wasnt impressed with my stay we also had trouble finding the cottage I phoned the no the booking sheet and no body phoned me back I had no missed calls thankfully finely found this cottage after over one hours trying to find it I wasn't impressed and will not ever be booking another trip with that cottage

    Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your review, we do take these seriously and use the feedback to improve the experience of the Lodge to our future guests, because you review covers a lot of points, I wanted to respond to each one individually: Poor Lighting – The Lodge has lighting both inside and out, the inside lights use warm glow natural bulbs, we have in the past, swapped these out for more modern daylight bright white bulbs, but found that it spoilt the ambience of the lodge. We will however change the lighting in the bathroom to a bright white bulb. We are also adding more lighting to the outside of the Lodge that will come on naturally at dusk and go off at dawn, to complement the light that is already there. Poor Heating – This is not the first time we have had this issue, we recently added another 2.5KW heater to accompany the 2.5KW heater that was already in the Lodge, we believed that a combined 5KW of heating would be enough; we also added hot water bottles and a throw as requested in previous reviews. Bathroom Leak – The Lodge is inspected and cleaned before every arrival, on this occasion no leak was detected before your arrival, the leak must have happened during your visit, which we have now fixed after it was brought to our attention Lumpy Bed – We have had a number of reviews that have questioned the mattress on the bed, this was replaced for a brand new one on 31/12/18 while another guest was in the Lodge, this was a quick fix on New Year’s Eve and a more suitable mattress was ordered. This was offered to you during your stay when it arrived, but it was declined. Parking – The off road parking for the lodge is the land that is opposite, this land was purpose cleared for the lodge and is no more than 8 feet from the gate. Netflix – Unfortunately, a previous guest had logged the Lodge account out of Netflix on the TV, this has now been added to our checklist prior to a guest arrival. Patio Area – The Lodge is advertised with a small courtyard only, we are going to get in contact with the booking agent to update the photographs on the website to show the actual courtyard. Gate – Unfortunately, the gate was broken by a previous guest and we did not have sufficient time to repair it before your arrival. Unable to find the property – we will work with the booking agent to provide better directions to the Lodge. The number on the booking sheet should have answered; we are looking into why this was not the case on your visit.

    Heating was insufficient

    Response on behalf of the Owner; We have seen this review, and the last two visitors have mentioned the same thing, as the weather has changed the heating is not sufficient. We are addressing this with adding a new wall heater; this has been ordered and will be installed within the next few weeks. We are also adding extra blankets and throws to make it more comfortable for our guests.
