Lovely place, near the new forest. I stayed as I as working in Eastleigh for a week, perfect location for the new forest and easy access to motorway. Clean, comfortable and good amenities. Thanks very much.

Good clear instructions from the owner so easy to find and arrange arrival time. The Lodge is within their large front garden. Plenty of parking and privacy. We found the Lodge to be warm and comfy, milk, biscuits and flowers were left for us showing the owners appreciation of our booking- that was a lovely touch. Bathroom and kitchen clean, also all bedding, pillows and duvet. Seating area both upstairs and in the kitchen diner, we were informed that we could move furniture around to fit our own needs but we enjoyed the TV upstairs with it's homely sofa and cushions. Shop and pub in walking distance but with the main road being busy ( you do not have to cross) we gave this a miss as we relaxed with a drink back at the Lodge. Morrisons is about 5 miles further up the road so we just did one shop for the week we stayed. For us we would stay again but in the winter, just the right place for slippers, jim-jams and a nice malt whisky . They even had a full draw of DVD's! If there was drift's of snow outside what would we care!!! Loved it!

Really a lovely place to chill out. Close to New forest and in between Southampton and Salisbury. Everything you need is in the property. Quiet location. Just lovely.

Lovely cottage, great location, friendly owners. Only one criticism and that is the size of bathroom and shower unit.

A delightful holiday home run by an equally delightful couple. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. We will certainly be revisiting.

Location was brilliant for the places we wanted to visit. Only downsides were 1. Shower...too small. Like showrting in a telephine boc but even smaller. 2. Laclk of oven and grill. Microwave worked as a small oven but as had no exprrience of this type of cooking was a bit afraid I was poisioning us. Other than that it was msrvellous.

Fine except for noisy builders next door. The bathroom mirror is too high.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Despite “noisy builders “ next door to our Lodge we were pleased the review marked us 9/10 so thank you! For around 2 weeks a neighbours extension required deep foundations to be excavated/ piled . This is now complete we are pleased to report and remaining work is more straightforward, with any noise minimal and during restricted hours, and completion close . The Lodge has a new patio, integrated hob and new heated towel rail and we look forward to welcoming new guests.

Delightful little Lodge ideally located for exploring both Hampshire and Wiltshire. Well equipped and would have been very peaceful if it were not for the building work going on in the next property but the builders stopped around 5 o'clock so evenings were peaceful. I will definitely book again for next year and continue exploring the area.
