Lovely, well-located cottage close to Penzance rail and bus station, making a great base for exploring the area without a car. Really well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge etc. The gas fire in the lounge is perfect for cold mornings and evenings.

sofa and chairs could do with up dating, décor could do with a make-over. beds were comfy, handy for train and bus station, lot of road noise.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments about The Little Blue House in Penzance. I read it and the low rating with some surprise! The sofa and chair in the sitting room were supplied by a well known Sofa company, the other chair is a lovely antique style armchair with a loose cover. Our family, me included stay in the cottage on a regular basis and I have never found noise from the road particularly noisy. However it's quite clear looking on the website that the cottage is on a road. July is busy everywhere in Cornwall. The cottage decor reflects the fact that the property is an old one. We do find that the cream interior paint gets scratched and marked especially over the summer in our popular holiday cottage. The decorators are due in the Autumn, and there will be a makeover in our lovely courtyard in the Spring.
