A good location for our far-flung family (ten adults and eight children) to get together to celebrate Grandpa's significant birthday. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to prepare big family meals though a medium-sized teapot would have been nice. We feel we should have been warned that we needed to supply our own towels. The decor of the house needs refreshing and some TLC around the place wouldn't go amiss.

Ideal position for canal walks and a couple of pubs. Suitable for our 4 family's with plenty of outdoor space and we could lose the children indoors and have adult time! Furniture and decor looking dated but probably added to the embience of the house. For a weekend break for 17 of us from north and south this was ideal to meet up.

Although the house decor is a little tired with the six grandchildren and the dog it was a very relaxed holiday. They could play football, volley ball and badminton in the garden and the games room had a snooker table, table tennis, pool, football table and darts so plenty to do for our party of 14. The Coopers Arms, The Dragon, The Remarkable Hare and The Ragley Boat Stop all accepted the dog and were helpful with our Gluten and dairy problems. We visited Carsington Water Sports for kayaks, stand up paddleboards and a canoe. We played football golf. The children went to Conkers which they really enjoyed. Lots of river walks on the doorstep. A great time was had by all.
