Beautiful remote and cosy setting, “down the rabbit hole” away from the bustle. (No mobile) Everything has been thought about by the most excellent and delightful hosts. Not our first visit. We will be back. A magical gem. You will not be disappointed. A good central base for exploring the county. NYMR runs along the bottom of the garden. Nearest base for shops is Pickering.

The cottage was beautiful, the hosts where a lovely couple who would do anything to make your stay great. Well hidden and secluded. But as yet no internet access, which some guests may not like.

A beautiful cottage, well stocked and very clean in a lovely, quiet location. The owners are a very nice couple and a pleasure to talk to. The garden is well cared for and watching the birds a delight. We highly recommend this cottage.

On our arrival at the hideaway we were made very welcome by the owners. The hideaway was bigger than we expected from the photos and it was absolutely lovely. Everything that was needed was there and more! What made it extra special was the fact that at the bottom of the garden was the railway line where the steam trains could be seen, it was nice to watch them even from the kitchen window. I would highly recommend a stay there as it was near to perfect a place for an enjoyable break.
