Lovely location in a quiet rural countryside, but still not to far from local towns villages ect. So no problem finding a nice pub or somewhere to eat. The local co op is great. Locals are very friendly too Great cottage. Great experience.

This was a present from our children which was just right for our break away. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. A good base for visiting Sherwood Forest, Lincoln, Southwell and the surrounding area.

Great 5 night stay in the hayloft, beautiful location and views. Perfect size for 2 and has everything you need. Lesley, the owner was very helpful and came straight away to sort any needs we had. Location is fab, 15 min walk to the local village caunton, very quaint and amazing food at the caunton beck. We didnt have a car so explored everywhere by foot, lovely walk to southwell too if you like longer walks or 20 mins by car. Would highly recommend, only downside was lots of flies and tiny midges in the humid weather, but this is to be expected in the countryside!

Manageress never bothered to meet us. Garden chairs both broken, toilet seat loose, toilet flush handle loose, heavy handed rules, WiFi not good, otherwise lovely cottage and setting very nice. We won't be staying again

For anyone who wants a holiday in the countryside the Hayloft is for you. Sat in the hottub taking in the scenery is not to be missed. Although on a working farm it does not impact on your stay. Highly recommended.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here this weekend. We did enjoy ourselves it was nice and peaceful and a lovely view. So yes we did enjoy it. But..... When we arrived my girlfriend did the usual women thing and scraped her finger against things like the mirror ect expecting to find no dust and it be spotless. That was not the case. Dust in most places and cobwebs that are very visible and look like they haven’t been cleaned in months. We understand it’s a working farm and things like cobwebs you can’t help them but for the money I paid and the fact you can’t check in until 4pm I would have expected it to be spotless if I’m honest. All day to clean the place and it wasn’t very clean. We was also abit surprised that we was no greeted or introduced my the owners. Not to pester us but just to say ‘I’m Lesley I’m the owner, any problems then call me or come round ect’ we didn’t have any of that. Not even an hello when we past her going to the car. You also have to wash up yourself and empty your own bins. The washing up we would have done anyway that’s not a problem but the bins I thought was strange. They have from 10 am in morning till 3-4pm that afternoon to clean so I thought that would have been done for us after the price we payed to stay here. Like I say we had a good time as a couple was chilled, relaxed and a beautiful view right outside the property. The hot tub is very nice and stays warm too. Would we come again? I think the answer would be no.

Lovely place to stay the farm itself is lovely and both owners are really friendly. Nice and relaxing the hot tub was great. It makes a good base for exploring the surrounding cities and villages with lots to do close by. The only thing we would have liked would be to walk to a pub in the evening but the roads wouldn't allow it in the dark
