Whilst there is a hotel with bar and restaurant within walking distance, a wider range of amenities can be found in the popular market town of Mold, 3 miles away, also home to Theatre Clwyd, Wales’ major drama-producing theatre and arts centre. Other local towns well worth visiting include Ruthin, nine miles away, and Holywell, 10 miles, or why not visit Flint Castle? Should you wish to venture over the border into England, the historic city of Chester is just 15 miles away and the vibrant city of Liverpool with its many attractions is 26 miles.

For those who prefer a coastal landscape, the beaches of north Wales are within easy driving distance.
