Relax in your very own private hot tub at this holiday property, which is surrounded by 200 acres of fields and woodland.

The Granary is a detached 200 year old barn conversion, has underfloor heating, beams, spacious bedrooms and a south facing garden with a private hot tub. There is also a table and chairs which is perfect for al fresco dining. It is situated on the owners’ 200-acre working dairy and beef farm, and the owners are happy to show children around. The farm is surrounded by numerous public footpaths extending through the farm and beyond, along fields and tracks. The location is perfect for days at the beach, being 40-minutes from the north and south coastline. North Devon has a choice of unspoilt sandy beaches for surfers and water sports, and the south coast offers more varied attractions such as mackerel fishing and cream teas.

This is a peaceful location but only 2 miles from Tiverton, where you will find many independent shops, cafés and restaurants. There are so many places to visit, including Exmoor, an ½-hour drive, and Dartmoor, a 45 minute drive. For a great family day out visit Diggerland or Crealy. The Blackdown Hills and many National Trust properties are all within a short drive, including Heathcote, Killerton and Coldharbour Steam Mill. Tiverton Canal, home to one of the last horse-drawn barges in the UK and located in mid Devon on the banks of the Grand Western Canal, is a tourist attraction that offers an enjoyable family day out. The Grand Western Canal is a local nature reserve and is teeming with wildlife, and things to do and see. With free access to the canal all year round, walkers, cyclists, anglers and boat enthusiasts can enjoy 11 miles of quiet and unspoilt waterway which will lead you through Devon’s beautiful countryside.
There is a wealth of other great walks on the Quantock Hills, Exmoor, and the Devon and Somerset legs of the South West Coastal Path. In addition there is the beautiful walk around Wimbleball Lake with its wildlife trail. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    We had an absolutely lovely weeekend in the Granary. It had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. Steve and Selena were really friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were happy (even retrieving footballs off the roof!). The converted barn is spacious and well decorated and the upside down layout isn't really an issue. There are two entrances to the garden and hot tub so you can either walk between the main house and the barn via the car park or round the back which is more secluded. There are dogs on the property but they are extremely friendly and well trained so weren't an issue during our stay. We would completely recommend the property for families, couples and friends and will be returning!

    The granary was beautiful and very comfortable. Very warm welcome from the owners and there gorgeous dogs. Scones on arrival were amazing. The hot tub and views were fantastic and I will book again next year and recommend to others

    Had an amazing stay at the granary, cosy comfortable and clean! Quiet and secluded location which is great for getting away. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Hot tub was amazing and a great way to relax after a day out. Will be booking again soon. Thank you

    Fantastic cottage, which is really cosy and clean, it has beautiful views and is set in a very relaxing location. The owners live in the farmhouse nearby and are very friendly but don’t bother you unnecessarily. It is clean, has great cooking facilities and felt like home from home! The location of the cottage is ideallly situated for exploring north and south Devon. The hot tub is the cherry on the top! Loved it!

    Was a lovely weekend away, the barn was perfect, very clean when we arrived had most things you need local shops were close and lots of things to do not far from the barn if your the outdoorsy type, also shopping in Exeter was good if the weathers not as nice, hot tub was perfect and views are amazing, will definitely be returning!

    The Granary is one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The building is well placed for a secluded holiday away from the noise of the towns! The owners are very friendly and always on hand to answer questions or tell you about places to visit ! And what better than at the end of the day relaxing and watching the stars from the hot tub !! This place is well worth the money spent and when I plan another Devon break The Granary would be my first choice cottage!!

    A great rural escape. Lovely accommodation and cream tea on arriving. The hot tub was a lovely way to end each day. Steve and Selina were great and happy to help with any requests. Really tasty burgers, steak and swede from the farm. It was lovely to have the dogs all around. Thoroughly recommend.
