More than 200 years old, this former granary is located in the almost secret hamlet of Moorsholm within the North York Moors National Park. The stunning shared garden has been awarded a Northumberland in Bloom Gold award. Surrounded by country walks this delightful holiday cottage is an ideal base for exploring the villages of Danby, Grosmont, Helmsley and Goathland, Heartbeat’s very own village. With easy access to the Heritage Coast of Yorkshire and coastal towns of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Robin Hoods Bay and the ancient seaport of Whitby, where cobbled streets, country inns, tea rooms and curio shops wait to greet you and the NYM steam train leaves on an 18 mile trip through the glorious Esk Valley. Other places nearby worth a visit include the seaside resort of Scarborough, Chester-le-Street and the open air museum at Beamish. 60 acre fly fishery 1 mile. Shop 3 miles, pub 100 yards and restaurant 2 miles.
