We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Forge and would definitely recommend it to others. Nikki was very hospitable and the welcome pack that was left for us on arrival was very much appreciated.

We had a great time at the forge. The cottage is lovely and very comfortable and the heated pool and large garden are wonderful and not overlooked at all. The owner is very welcoming and gave us lots of useful advice on the area and she provides milk, bread, butter etc and wine and cake! The local area has lots to do, from haunted castles to breathtaking beaches. The local pub does amazing food as well. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday and central base to explore the northumbrian coast do not hesitate to book!
