Ideal cottage for a relaxing break, with outstanding views. Easy access to southern Scotland, Northumberland and the Lake District. The cottage has everything you need and the hot tub is an added bonus. We were there at lambing time and watching them play in the fields was brilliant.

Had a great stay at the Fauld, beautifully appointed cottage in a lovely peaceful location. Perfect for walking or just a totally chilled out weekend and the hot tub is the cherry on the cake. Jane the owner is very friendly and is always on hand if you need her. I would highly recommend coming here.

We spent a week in this lovely and comfortable cottage. It was peaceful and tranquil. We loved being surrounded by wildlife and animals. It's because of the location of the cottage, we took the opportunity to visit and experience the fringe in Edinburgh, Glasgow and many parts of the beautiful Lake District. The hot tub was great. A perfect way to unwind and relax after a long day. Although the cottage has no WIFI, having a gadget detoxification was one of the best things during our stay. My partner and I spent more quality time together. Someone pointed out there was no mobile signal. We got strong mobile signal just by stepping out the cottage. The owner was very friendly. We would definitely recommend this little hidden gem to others and will be back again.

Overall, our stay at the cottage was fantastic! We had peace and quiet for a week with use of a lovely private hot tub and an enclosed garden for our dogs. The cottage was roomy and had a lovely feel to it and we would definitely stay again. The only thing missing was WiFi or indeed a phone signal, however it was nice to not have this most of the time as it meant no distractions, and the point of the holiday was to relax and take it easy.
