We had a lovely week away staying at The Fauld. It was exactly what we needed. The enclosed garden for the dogs to play in was perfect for us while relaxing in the hot tub with amazing views across the fields. We booked this cottage earlier in the year when staycations were still the only holiday option so perhaps we paid more than this cottage usually costs however that is on us as we agreed and paid it. We would however have expected wifi to be included within this price. The cottage is clean enough, any cottage letting you take two dogs will never be completely immaculate so we were more than happy with that side of things. Blinds on the doors would be good though! All in all, a great stay, thank you

Perfect location for exploring Hadrian’s wall and the hot tub is perfect to relax after a day exploring. The bed takes some getting used to with some springs popping. People visiting need to keep in mind there is no wifi and my o2 phone wouldn’t pick up any signal at all! Was a welcomed peace from the digital world but worth noting before visiting. It states any problems ring the owners however something we wouldn’t have been able to do with absolutely no signal but luckily encountered no problems at all. Would certainly recommend a visit!
