We spent a wonderful week at the Elbow, revisiting a number of places in Dorset as well as discovering a couple of new ones. One couldn't wish for a more perfect base than this.

We found the cottage absolutely suitable for 2 couples over New Year. Nice to have an allocated parking space. Jane was very helpful at all times and we loved her arty pieces dotted around the property. Well appointed and cosy.

We had a really lovely week visiting various places. The location of the cottage is very good for going in any direction - so near to the main roads.

What a super find. The pictures do not do this cottage justice. This is a quaint, well equip and great positioned cottage in the heart of Dorset. We were within 30 minutes of most places we wanted to visit both coastal and inland.

A lovely cottage, steeped in history, located in a brilliant location to ensure you keep busy, the amenities provided made sure we could cook meals if we didn't want to eat out. The main bedroom and bathroom were lovely, a steep winding staircase to the bathroom could be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues, however, it provided a luxurious retreat to pamper yourself in the beautiful bath, the lighting was fab. the other bedroom with two beds, one larger than the other was great, the bathroom adjoining this bedroom has a shower. The kitchen was well equipped, a welcome tray was a nice touch, and all the local information for visits, walks and eating was appreciated, the lounge was a great place to relax, a cupboard full of jigsaws and games a nice touch, there is a well stocked bookcase as well.
