This was my 2nd holiday at The Drying House. The cottage is perfect in every respect and located only a few minutes walk to the High Street for a great selection of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and boutique shopping. Ledbury provided a central location to explore Herefordshire, Worcestershire and nearby counties.

Extremely well appointed cottage with first rate furnishings and equipment. Two modern bathrooms one en suite. Everything spotlessly clean. In a quiet courtyard setting with a few similar cottages with parking and very easy close access to centre of town. Owners friendly and helpful. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

We had a lovely holiday. The fabulous weather helped obviously but we liked the area. We liked the Church Lane, full of character with its Tudor buildings. The church was interesting too; we'd never seen the bell tower/steeple separated from the actual church before. A walk on the Malvern Hills was great, as was the town of Great Malvern with many Victorian buildings which contrasted greatly from Ledbury. The columns supporting the railway station roof was interesting too. Hereford Catherdral was well worth visiting with its fascinating history, the Mappa Mundi and the chained library. It was well worth walking on the other side of the River Wye to view the cathedral. We thought Hereford town centre itself is rather run down though. We like Herefordshire very much and have visited Symond's Yat, the Forest of Dean, Monmouth, etc in the past.

A lovely property, conveniently placed for the Town centre with off-street parking. Beautifully furnished and well maintained with very thoughtful touches to provide everything needed. A welcome package of milk and cake was an extra touch as well.

Beautiful accommodation. Everything was top class - brilliant location for shopping, eating out and sightseeing. Comfortable beds, and the semi permanent baby gates made our stay more relaxing without worrying our 12 month old toddler would fall down the stairs in this “ upside down” accommodation! Highly recommended.

We had an excellent holiday in Herefordshire to which The Drying House contributed significantly. It is an outstanding property situated in a quiet courtyard only a minutes walk from the main street in Ledbury. The property itself is beautifully presented, sizeable and very well equipped. Sally, the owner, is intent on making your stay a comfortable one. Ledbury has a number of very good restaurants, many independent shops and fantastic old buildings and history. It is also a great base from which to visit the local area. The Malvern have fabulous walking (The British Camp we would certainly recommend). Hereford, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and Ross on Wye / Symonds Yat are all within twenty miles. It is an area to which we shall certainly return and, when we do, we should like to stay at The Drying House again.
