The Drying House is a fantastic cottage and we had a great relaxing break here. Was absolutely ideal for a family with 2 young kids (five & one year old), and from the moment we stepped in everyone absolutely loved the place. Thank you very much Sally and the team!

A beautifully clean and stylish cottage in the heart of Ledbury. Everything you could wish for. We were made so welcome by the owners-only had a weekend but planning a return visit as soon as we can to see more of this beautiful area.

This was my 2nd holiday at The Drying House. The cottage is perfect in every respect and located only a few minutes walk to the High Street for a great selection of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and boutique shopping. Ledbury provided a central location to explore Herefordshire, Worcestershire and nearby counties.

Extremely well appointed cottage with first rate furnishings and equipment. Two modern bathrooms one en suite. Everything spotlessly clean. In a quiet courtyard setting with a few similar cottages with parking and very easy close access to centre of town. Owners friendly and helpful. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

We had a lovely holiday. The fabulous weather helped obviously but we liked the area. We liked the Church Lane, full of character with its Tudor buildings. The church was interesting too; we'd never seen the bell tower/steeple separated from the actual church before. A walk on the Malvern Hills was great, as was the town of Great Malvern with many Victorian buildings which contrasted greatly from Ledbury. The columns supporting the railway station roof was interesting too. Hereford Catherdral was well worth visiting with its fascinating history, the Mappa Mundi and the chained library. It was well worth walking on the other side of the River Wye to view the cathedral. We thought Hereford town centre itself is rather run down though. We like Herefordshire very much and have visited Symond's Yat, the Forest of Dean, Monmouth, etc in the past.
