The Crow’s Nest offers you that little touch of heaven for the most relaxing of holidays. The Crow’s Nest is an immaculate high quality 2022 Caravan set quietly in the grounds of the award-winning David Bellamy Gold Conservation site of Coastal Kippford Holiday Park.
The spot could not be more perfect to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this delightful site and the Crow’s Next will certainly not disappoint. The open plan living/dining/kitchen with its patio doors opening onto the balcony is tastefully decorated and the theme continues in the three bedrooms which are comfortable, one boasts an en-suite toilet and washbasin.
Whilst enjoying views from the front and side balconies both give that element of privacy where you can sit and dine on a fine day or in the evening sit back with your favourite tipple enjoying the marvellous dark starry skies. This area of South West Scotland is well recognised for its clear skies as one of the twelve best stargazing sites in the world and has the first Dark Sky Park in the UK.
The Crow’s Nest is just a short stroll from the small and pretty seaside village of Kippford with two excellent pubs/restaurants and a tearoom. You can enjoy numerous walks and coastal paths in and around the village including the walk along the Jubilee Path to Rockcliffe, another little village just around the coast. Sailing is at the hub of life in the village and each August culminates with Kippford Week, a week of racing and excitement on the estuary for all ages.
Further afield this beautiful corner of Dumfries and Galloway has much to offer. Only minutes from The Crow’s Nest is Richorn Trailhead at Dalbeattie Forest, one of the famous 7Stanes mountain bike trails, Ironhash, Moyle Hill and the red graded Hardrock Trail. Enjoy the many historic castles, National Trust gardens and the RSPB sites in the region. As well as mountain biking, golfing is a popular pastime in the area and there are several championship courses within a short drive. For the younger guests there are ice cream farms and even a chocolate factory where you can make your own chocolate, so there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

Crow's Next surpassed our expectations everything in the caravan was good quality and location was excellent. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit hit and miss.
