We arrived at the apartment around 4pm. The lane leading from Falmouth is a bit tight in places so care does need to be taken whilst driving. The barrier code was situated within our booking documents as well as the code for the key lock. This could be better highlighted as was difficult to locate. Parking is no more than a 1 minute walk from either car parking to the apartment which was good. There are some steps leading down to the apartment but these do not present any problems. The hill from the apartment to the beach is quite steep so may be a problem for people with limited mobility. You can however take your car to the beach as parking is a minimal charge. Beach also has a food trailer at this time as the Café is being refurbished after a fire. The apartment itself is well furnished and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen whilst not new, is fully functional and has all appliances you need. The microwave is quite complex so best read the instructions kept in the drawer. The cooker and oven work fine and everything you need to prepare and eat meals in is available to you. The lounge area is well appointed with a good size TV and a small reading nock which my wife used a lot. There is a small outside area which gives a view to the beach. The TV has Freesat and also Amazon Prime and Netflix available which was a nice touch by the owners. There is also a Google Smart home device which will play music or you can connect your own phones if you prefer to it via Bluetooth. The small bedroom has a double bed and access is limited as described in other reviews. However I didn't find it an issue and the owners have also added some children's desks and equipment for the children to use if required. The family bathroom is modern and very clean. The walk in shower is great and works well. The main bedroom has a low bed which could be an issue for less mobile people but very comfortable. I prefer softer mattresses and this was ideal for me. There is a small ensuite with shower which again is modern and clean. The leisure centre on the site has a nice pool and jacuzzi, and also a small games area which is free to use. Check opening times when you arrive though. The Crows Nest overall, is a well equipped and clean apartment to stay is as a base whilst visiting. Thanks to the additional small items the owners have thought about such as Prime and Netflix for when the TV signal is degraded, free WiFi makes it an ideal place for a family. I would certainly recommend staying here and will use again when I am in the area.

Just visited. Great location just outside Falmouth with stunning sea views and great countryside views too. Nice little beach but beach cafe has burned down so you can’t get food or drinks there now. The estate is well kept with lovely plants and flowers and a nice pool available for guests. The apartment owner has thoughtfully provided lots of items so you don’t need to bring them yourself eg washing powder, clingfilm, cloths, some coffee, wine and biscuits too which was very useful and a pint of milk. I didn’t cook there but there seemed to be plenty of equipment and there were books and games and holiday information too. Only downsides were main bedroom a bit cramped with only a small amount of difficult to reach storage space, bed was uncomfortable being far too soft with no support and the pillows were the same (really needs better mattress and more supportive pillows or take your own). Also inside clean but outside areas had weeds and needed some attention. Overall a lovely area and nice main bathroom with excellent shower and a handy en suite.
