Locations don’t get much better than this. The Croft House is located in the wild west of Skye in the crofting community of Caroy.
There are four bedrooms, one downstairs with en-suite, and three upstairs sharing a bathroom. The wood burner in the living room is a highlight, and the kitchen/dining room is large and serves as a brilliant hub. It’s an excellent place to rest and recharge after long days exploring the great isle.
This old croft house has been lovingly restored to offer a brilliant holiday home from which to soak up the magic of Skye. You have private access to the sea loch, only a short walk down the croft. Don’t forget to pack your fishing rod and pop the kayaks on the roof of the car, because you’ll regret it if you don’t! You will want to be down by the water and paddling on it if you can.
This part of north west Skye is special and in all directions there are many interesting places very close by. Macleods Tables are to the north west, Talisker is across the bay to the southwest, and the iconic Cuillins are to the south. You’ll be pulled in many different exciting directions, so you need more time than you think to do the place justice! Other amazing places a short drive away are Dunvegan Castle, Point Neist Lighthouse, Macleods Maidens, Coral Beach, the Waternish & Trotternish peninsulas, and last but not least the Fairy Pools and southern Skye.
Book a week and you’ll wish you had two, not only because of the amazing location, but also because of the spacious, lovingly restored interior of The Croft House. Don’t hesitate, stay at The Croft House on Skye!
