The Creamery is a traditional, detached Somerset farm cottage, which has been decorated and furnished to a good standard and is set at the end of a private lane on the owner’s organic pasture farm, Quaish Farm, which has a small flock of sheep (lambing takes place between April and May).
This holiday cottage makes a great base for visiting Somerset, with many attractions in the local area, including the small city of Wells with its cathedral, Bishops Palace, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge and Caves. It is only 5 miles from the mystical town of Glastonbury, where you can go and see the famous Abbey and Tor. The beautiful countryside nearby provides a wide range of activities such as cycling, riding, caving and walking.
The Creamery is conveniently located for events at The Bath and West Showground, which has many events and exhibitions all year round. There is superb shopping and theatres in Bath and Bristol, and the beaches at Weston-super-Mare are 40 minutes away.
Of course, if you prefer, you can simply relax in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book, enjoying the wonderful sunsets and beautiful views that overlook Glastonbury Tor. Alternatively, take an evening stroll through the village and have supper and a quiet drink at the local pub. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Fabulous stay with a very generous welcome pack. My only negative was the small single beds in one bedroom, which were a little narrow for adults. However, the write up on the property does mention the children's beds, so I can't complain. Would definitely book this cottage again, I would just make sure I get the bigger bed !

The cottage is comfortable and spotless and particularly quiet and peaceful with dark sky for good star gazing. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and we were provided with farm eggs, milk, butter, tea and a coffee machine plus a very generous basket of goodies on arrival. I have never been so welcomed. Beds comfortable; bathrooms fine and Netflix available on the TV. Children - like us - will enjoy feeding hens, lambs and sheep if they wish. I only take off one point for location because you can walk to a pub for a meal but otherwise you really need a car for 'local amenities'. It was superb.

We had a lovely week staying at the Creamery. The house was lovely and we'll equipped with everything you could think of or need, everything was comfortable and clean and we felt immediately at home. The owners were kind and generous with a thoughtful welcome basket and they kindly showed us and our children around their farm which my daughter in particular loved! The cottage was only a 10 minutes drive into Wells which is a lovely place to visit and has all necessary supermarkets etc. We drove out for quite a few days out from here, Longleat and Bath both around 30 minutes away and Stonehenge and Weston-super-Mare around 45 minutes away. We wouldn't hesitate in staying here again and would highly recommend it to families in particular.

Wow- this cottage is wonderful. Had very friendly non- intrusive owners who were very thoughtful. The cottage was easy to find and easy to drive to. The property had mobile phone reception and is in a very good location. The property is extremely well equipped((even a DVD player not listed) and near so many local tourist attractions such as Longleat, Wells and only a short drive to Weston Super Mare. This property is amazing to just recharge the batteries. Lovely views, I was able to sit outside enjoying the birds singing and watching the sheep in the nearby field and watching the owners chickens. I would highly recommend the creamery to everyone and will defiantly return if exploring Somerset again.

Lovely, comfortable cottage in a pretty rural location. Generous welcome pack. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Convenient for Wells, Glastonbury (Tor can be seen through the master bedroom window), Street, Cheddar Gorge, Castle Cary. Did not want to go home.

We had a wonderful break at the Creamery- the cottage is very well equipped and spacious, toddler-proofing equipment was provided and the garden was enclosed. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and great with the toddler (who just loves tractors!)
