The Creamery is a traditional, detached Somerset farm cottage, which has been decorated and furnished to a good standard and is set at the end of a private lane on the owner’s organic pasture farm, Quaish Farm, which has a small flock of sheep (lambing takes place between April and May).
This holiday cottage makes a great base for visiting Somerset, with many attractions in the local area, including the small city of Wells with its cathedral, Bishops Palace, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge and Caves. It is only 5 miles from the mystical town of Glastonbury, where you can go and see the famous Abbey and Tor. The beautiful countryside nearby provides a wide range of activities such as cycling, riding, caving and walking.
The Creamery is conveniently located for events at The Bath and West Showground, which has many events and exhibitions all year round. There is superb shopping and theatres in Bath and Bristol, and the beaches at Weston-super-Mare are 40 minutes away.
Of course, if you prefer, you can simply relax in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book, enjoying the wonderful sunsets and beautiful views that overlook Glastonbury Tor. Alternatively, take an evening stroll through the village and have supper and a quiet drink at the local pub. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

This was our second stay in this quiet, comfortable cottage in beautiful countryside. Friendly, helpful owners provided a generous welcome pack. Handy for visiting Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Street (inc Clark's Shopping Village), Wookey Hole etc. Hope to return.

We had a lovely time staying at The Creamery. Martin and Evelyn were really attentive to any needs we had and gave us a great welcome. The cottage is well appointed and very comfortable and quiet despite being on a farm ! The location is a good base for several interesting locations and attractions, especially Wells and Glastonbury as well as Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Honestly could not want for more, from the welcome basket when we arrived to egg hunting on the day we left. Definitely a place we won't forget for all the right reasons. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely holiday at The Creamery. Very well equipped, child friendly, comfortable cottage. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and our toddler loved being able to see some of the things happening on the farm. A couple of months on he still talks about farmer Martin and Evelyn and the holiday home.

Fabulous stay with a very generous welcome pack. My only negative was the small single beds in one bedroom, which were a little narrow for adults. However, the write up on the property does mention the children's beds, so I can't complain. Would definitely book this cottage again, I would just make sure I get the bigger bed !

The cottage is comfortable and spotless and particularly quiet and peaceful with dark sky for good star gazing. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming and we were provided with farm eggs, milk, butter, tea and a coffee machine plus a very generous basket of goodies on arrival. I have never been so welcomed. Beds comfortable; bathrooms fine and Netflix available on the TV. Children - like us - will enjoy feeding hens, lambs and sheep if they wish. I only take off one point for location because you can walk to a pub for a meal but otherwise you really need a car for 'local amenities'. It was superb.
