Although very remote the cottage is in a lovely situation with fantastic views out to sea and especially The Blaskett Islands. We had two problems whilst staying there. Firstly the toilet seat in the upstairs was broken off prior to our arrival. We reported this immediately to the Caretaker but received no response so had to manage without it for the duration of our stay. Secondly the oil for the central heating ran out on the Wednesday evening and we had to go nearly two days without hot water for baths and showers.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are sorry that the heating oil ran out much sooner than anticipated and regret the inconvenience caused. As soon as I got your message on the Thursday evening I ordered a delivery which arrived during the following morning. The house also has an electric immersion that heats the water with both a sink and bath switch, guests use it regularly in summer when heating is not on.
