Lovely holiday home . Great location . Comfortable, however there are some housekeeping things that require urgent attention , the toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom is cracked and looks like it has been for some time . Dustpan handle broken & cobwebs here & there , towels & bedding well worn & looking a little tired . Downstairs bathroom is in need of painting due to mold growth . Having said this I would stay again as we really loved the place .

The views from the house were fabulous. The house had a good layout but with a few problems that could easily be rectified: The patio doors didn't open. We were able to open one with difficulty after we cleaned the runner. The other patio door couldn't be unlocked. The kitchen tap had a constant drip. We arrived on Saturday and as directed found the key under the mat. The house was reasonably clean but the downstairs bedroom was a bit smelly when we arrived - the bedlinen while obviously washed, lacked freshness and possibly needs to be replaced - the valance certainly wasn't washed and it was visibly stained. On Sunday morning we realised that there were only 3 bath towels for 6 guests. I texted the caretaker but got no reply- on Monday morning the necessary additional towels were hanging on the back door! The towels were of such a poor quality that it was difficult to dry oneself. The information given stated that there were 2 restaurants within walking distance- technically this is correct but there is no restaurant open for an evening meal- the closest is Paidí O'Shea's pub about 9 km away. We were delighted with the services of a local taxi (Thomás O'Catháin) to go to Dingle and Ventry for evening meals. Would I rent this cottage again? No.
