Denise, the host, makes you feel at home and that everything you need is available at the cottage. The grounds are beautiful and the cottage itself is very comfortable and homely. I would recommend as either a short term (or in my case 6 weeks) or a longer term let. Great value for money and the hosts are fantastic.

We found 'The Cottage' to be ideal holiday accommodation for two. All fittings and equipment are of a high standard resulting in a comfortable and trouble-free stay and we would recommend it to all who appreciate a quiet, rural setting. Denise was friendly and helpful throughout and we consider this one of the very best holiday homes in which we've stayed.

Lovely property in a peaceful location. Very modern style with everything you could possibly need within. Good quality throughout. The area is quiet, but Royal Tunbridge Wells is only a 30 minute drive away. There are several nice villages close by, with tea rooms, pubs & restaurants to savour. We stayed for a long weekend (3 nights), but would have been happy to stay longer. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

Very friendly hosts, made us feel very welcome and went the extra bit to accommodate our motorcycle. The cottage was as described perhaps even better than advertised. We could not fault the location or accommodation. Bit of a walk to the local pub 1.5 miles, but worth the effort.

Unfortunately this property is located on the owner's drive, so there is limited privacy, particularly if you want to sit outside. If you sit outside you are in full view of the owner's house which is not relaxing. Inside, the property is clean, tidy and has all the mod cons you might want but it lacks enough windows. I would also say it is relatively expensive for what it is.
