A smashing little cottage, in a beautiful area. The house was cosy and just the right size for a family of four. It also had a good sized garden to the rear. Owners were really welcoming and friendly. I really would recommend it if you wish to explore Wiltshire.

We have enjoyed our stay. Our 4 year old had a lot of fun in the garden, we had everything we needed. Mike and Bella are very friendly and attentive landlords.

Mike and Bella greeted us at the property and showed us around, they are lovely people and run the shop next door. The cottage has a log fire and central heating, we needed both as the weather took a turn for the worst and the living room took a while to heat up. The property is very spacious so there was plenty of room for four of us. The kitchen was well equipped and leads out onto a very large patio and garden area which would be nice in the summer in the nice weather. Upstairs both bedrooms have sloping ceilings and were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the water was tepid and we should have asked about it but we were lazy and just put up with it. We regularly popped next door to buy supplies and we did pop to the Hook and Glove restaurant which Bella recommended (no.1 out of 210 restaurants around Salisbury) which was had lovely food but perhaps be classed as homely looking (to us Town folk). We enjoyed our holiday and the cottage was worth the money we paid. I would say the only drawback is that it is very rural and if you wanted more than just a shop next door ie. a town then this is not for you.

A lovely place to stay, warm, clean and cosy. A great base to explore Salisbury, stonehenge and we also visited Portsmouth Historical Dockyard. The village shop is next to the cottage, and useful and not obtrusive at all. The fish and chip van stops right outside on Thursday evenings and we had the best fish and chip supper ever! Perfect after a busy day out with the family. The cottage is in a lovely little village with a small playpark 5 minuites walk away. Owners were helpful and friendly and we would definitely return.

We stayed for 7 nights at the cottage. Bella and Mike greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was amazing, with every thing you could want and a very welcome bottle of wine on the table and lots of other nice little extra touches. The cottage was very clean, warm and cosy. A very well equipped mini-supermarket belonging to Bella and Mike is right next door to the cottage and a lovely pub approximately 100 yds away The village is lovely with some lovely walks, very pretty and so peaceful. We would not hesitate to book the cottage again. Hopefully in the very near future.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The owners made us very welcome and nothing was to much to ask. We would certainly go back for a visit. We were very well placed to visit everywhere from the M4 corridor to the south coast.

My other half and our three kids stayed at the cottage and had a fantastic holiday. The cottage is great and the owners are great. Our youngest is just over 1 so the had set up a cot for him and fitted baby gates to the top and bottom of the stairs. They run the local shop which is right next door and really handy for grabbing the essentials and fresh crossaints in the morning. The Lord Nelson pub is 1 minutes walk away and does great food. We had a lovely meal there and they catered for the kids really well. They also make pizza to take away which were very nice. There are so many places to go within an hours drive of the cottage. We were busy every day. We are planning to go back again

Lovely cottage used as a base for visiting local attractions. The village had a great childrens' play park too. Cottage was homely and spacious for a family of 4 and accommodated two young children well with stairgates, a cot and highchair.
