The highlights in the area include Lynton and Lynmouth with the Victorian cliff railway, the seaside town of Ilfracombe, rock pooling at Combe Martin and the regional town of Barnstaple with its famous Butchers Row and pannier market. There is plenty of walking on nearby Exmoor and the South West Coastal Path and for guests with children, The Big Sheep makes for a fun day out. Excellent cottage, everything you needed was supplied. Perfect kids/games room! Local pub was fab, great food. Lovely little touches from hosts ie bottle of wine on arrival, toy boxes etc. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Would stay again.

We spent 4 nights at the corn mill. The house it will equipped and spacious, it was clean and tidy. The shower is amazing with lots of water pressure, just what you need on your holiday. The owner was polite and helpful and knowledgable of the area. The kitchen has every kind of gadget and appliance. The only real downside to this cottage is the very narrow road you need to drive down to get to it. Other than that I cannot recommend this cottage enough.

This property is one of our favourites - it has everything we need and is within easy reach of lots of interesting places. Plenty to do and see even at the end of March/early April!

We really enjoyed our stay a The Corn Mill which was home from home, there was everything there that we wanted. I would imagine in the summer it would be a beautiful place with walks. The only thing that we think could have been improved was the quality of the pillows on the bed. 2 of our party out of 4 had sore necks which they believe were down to the pillows. That aside it’s one of the loveliest places we have stayed in over the New Year

The cottage was marvelous. The only negatives were the narrow access lanes, no signal on mobile phones and no toilet on first floor (could be difficult for older people with slow access to stairs!) We thought everything was great, all you could wish for in a country cottage and would definitely stay there again.
