Really loved the cottage however not being a dog owner found the smell of dog quite off putting. Not sure the heat didn’t help that either - as the cottage was actually really clean. It’s probably fine if you have dogs - but for us (not being doggy people) it wasn’t ideal. I did see dogs were allowed when booking so maybe next time I’ll take more notice of that and avoid dog friendly cottages. The place is ideal if you have dogs by the way so would recommend it (lots of walks etc). The cottage itself was really clean, well looked after, obviously loved and had some lovely personal touches. Would recommend to dog owners! Thanks

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your score of 10, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We pride ourselves in presenting it spotless for each new guest, as can be seen in our consistent top score for cleanliness. Although we have never received this comment before and did not notice this at all during our clean after your visit, we do appreciate your feedback. Just to reassure all our current and future guests, we completed our usual high standard clean with an additional deep steam cleaning of all soft furnishings anyway. Once again, thank you for your comments and glad you enjoyed your stay.

What a fantastic cottage, a home from home. Not only a great place to stay in Kessingland, the property had lots of history and the neighbours were lovely. We will certainly recommend this holiday cottage to family and friends, and we will be back, oh, Rosie our spaniel has just told me she wants to come back too!!

Cottage was great. Clean, well presented and nice touches from the Owners - much appreciated. Not our ideal location but nothing to do with the cottage. A personal thing.
