A lovely, comfortable cottage in an ideal location. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. The welcome pack was much appreciated, especialy the bara brith.

The cottage was larger than expected and well equipped. St. Briavels is wonderfully quiet, has a small useful shop and a good, dog-friendly pub. We loved the walks nearby in the Wye Valley and the forests.

A lovely, comfortable, well positioned cottage where you could rest, relax, recoup as well as travel to many nearby places of interest and beauty. The owners had really taken time to ensure that not only was the cottage a wonderful place to stay but had gone beyond expected by way of design, décor, resource etc - it showed that they really wanted to ensure that visitors felt at home and enjoyed fully their experience. Couldn't fault it in any way - well worth a stay.

Such a find! The cottage is in the middle of the most beautiful countryside, and has great views from the end of the garden. There was so much space for our little family (the photos don't do it justice!) and the cottage is very well equipped for cooking. We would stay again!

A really lovely comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was perfect for myself and a friend as we could each have our own room. Maybe not so good for a couple as there are only single beds. It is in a beautiful area with lots of walks straight from the cottage but be aware if you have a large dog with you that almost all the walks involve stiles with no dog openings. The owners provided us with a lovely welcome pack including Bara Brith, butter, milk, wine and the Radio Times. It is only a very short walk to the local pub which is dog friendly and provides reasonable food. There is a small shop/deli in the village but nowhere local to buy a newspaper.
