Lovely location away from the rush of tourist areas. Although a short drive to the lakes etc. Supermarkets down the road were handy.

We loved this place very much. It has a lovely smell, very clean. The only thing we found the bed not that comfortable. Apart from that, it is very nice, it has everything we need including towels, toilet rolls, nappy bags, fairy liquids, hand wash, soup, coffe sachets, tea bags, hot chocolate sachets, little pots of milk and cream to make hot drinks, sachets of brown sauce, ketchup, pepper, salt, sugar and vinegar. Washing machine with washing powder and fabric conditioner, wi-fi was working. Spares bedding. In fact, there was even a bottle of wine and a small box of chocolates, biscuits, sweets. Honestly, a lot more than we expected it just make your hols easier. Outside there was plenty space for the kids to play and thereally was few toys as well in the garden for us to entertain the children. My kids didn't want to leave, they loved that place.

Having stayed in the Lake district many times this has, without doubt been the best place we have stayed. A great wee cottage with lovely owners who made us feel so welcome. Everything you need is in the cottage including wifi(not the best speed but there none the less). The views are stunning. It's close to Kendal and only 15 minutes from Windemere so an excellent location. We loved it and will be back again. Wouldn't stay anywhere else now that we've found this little gem.
