The parking was inadequate and caused some concern. We would have liked a clothes horse or line. A hook in the bathroom would have been useful. All minor details really.

The cottage has two good-sized bedrooms on the ground floor. Upstairs is a very fancy bathroom with a huge bath, a teeny kitchen and living area. Outside is a deck with table and chairs and a summerhouse with the recycling bags and washing machine. It was fine for two of us for a few days -- I can't imagine feeding a family of four there! We only had our breakfasts there and ate out for our other meals. The sofa had seen better days, but generally the rest of the furniture was fine. Bed was comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. We didn't know the area at all, so a bit more info on how to get into Cardiff (there is a park & ride by train from Pencoed, but we didn't find out until after we'd been), where the best local pub is, the nearest supermarket, etc, would be very helpful. The leaflets in the cottage were quite old -- presumably left by previous guests.

Peaceful location, perfectly equipped, nice bathroom (with large Jacuzzi bath!), Good sized rooms, Truly pet friendly, decking outside with a summerhouse including washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge freezer. The "Drive" is very tight - although there is a notice that owners can arrange for parking if more than one vehicle. If you're looking for a couples getaway then this is ideal!

The Coach House is a fantastic, quirky, comfortable cottage. I came with my husband, two children and dog for holiday. The beds were very comfortable, the cottage is in a peaceful location and we all enjoyed the Jacuzzi! The complementary use of dressing gowns was very welcome. The Coach House is well located for exploring the Afan Forest (great for mountain biking), waterfall country and the Brecon Beacons as well as being conveniently located in-between Cardiff and Swansea. Our children particularly enjoyed seeing baby lambs leaping past the windows. The Coach House has everything you need to cook a family meal and eat either inside or outside on the decking outside the summer house. Catherine (the owner) was really helpful offered the children toys or dvds if we needed. We will be back!

We had a lovely time in the cottage. Everyone( adults and children alike) enjoyed the jacuzzi, log fire and heated floors. Our girls loved spending time in their cosy bedroom . The owners were very friendly and helpful. We will , definetly, be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Was perfect for a weekend away with another couple. We were close enough to go to Cardiff for the evening and spent the day at the margram country park doing go ape! The log fire was amazing and the jacuzzi bath was a nice addition! Perfect stay! Would definitely recommend!!
