We had a lovely holiday staying at The Coach House. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms were a real bonus as we didn't have to share! The property is deep in the beautiful Somerset countryside - lots of walks nearby and villages a drive away. We arranged a Tesco delivery so the lack of 'local' shops was not a problem Dunster Castle is worth a visit. If you're happy to drive a little further afield, try Porlock, Lynton & Lynmouth but watch out for the very steep hills!

Could not believe the size of this lovey cottage. It has a large open plan Kitchen/diner/lounge plus a further kitchen and separate lounge downstairs. All the bedrooms have en-suites and decent beds etc. To top this they have a field set aside for you to walk the dogs in, which was good as we had 4 dogs with us. It is in the middle of nowhere so local amenities are in short supply and no mobile network but the cottage has got good Wifi. Wimbleball Lake is nearby but the water level was low with Blue algae, so so did let the dogs go in. Both The George, the nearest Pub, and The Bridge are good places to eat.

A disappointing cottage. The lounge area was utilitarian with drab furniture, the dishwasher, TV in one of the bedrooms and the shower/bath control in the same bedroom did not work. The cottage was advertised as having a table tennis room but the room was a general store area with a table tennis table in the middle - not suitable for playing table tennis. There was no information provided on the various appliances, particularly the Aga, dishwasher and TVs. We left the cottage a day early.
