Retaining much of its original charm and character, it makes the perfect retreat whatever time of the year. Pembrokeshire, home to fabulous beaches, picturesque coastal resorts and majestic sites, is the perfect destination to unwind and relax or explore until your hearts content. The unblemished beaches of Barafundle Bay, Broadhaven and Freshwater East are just a few worthy of a visit and provide spectacular cliff top walks along the glistening coast - ideal for water based activities such as kayaking, surfing or coasteering.

The cottage is beautifully positioned in three acres of mature grounds, along with other holiday properties and adjacent to the owner’s magnificent Georgian country guest house, dating back to the early 19th Century. It has been lovingly put together with a spacious living area, cosy bedrooms and well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms with all the contemporary amenities added for that unforgettable holiday experience. Outside, relax and unwind in the extensive grounds and enjoy alfresco dining, or for the more active, take a short walk to the coast and discover Pembrokeshire’s iconic coastal path which stretches 186 miles along its spectacular coastline.

Nearby, the bustling coastal resort of Tenby is well worth a visit and is scattered with numerous cafés, eclectic gift shops and highly acclaimed restaurants. Wander the narrow streets and visit the resorts award-winning Harbour Beach, voted ‘Europe’s number 1’ beach due to its sheltered bay and clear waters. Take a boat trip ride from the tranquil harbour to the offshore island of Caldey and visit the Celtic Monastery and Cistercian Monks who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years. Away from the coast, Pembrokeshire’s rolling countryside is just as promising and is dotted with numerous majestic sites waiting to be explored including Carew, Manorbier and Pembroke Castles, as well as the magnificent 12th Century cathedral and ruins of Bishops Palace, tucked away peacefully towards the north of the county at Britain’s smallest city of St Davids. A trip to the county would not be complete without a visit to the leisure attractions of Oakwood, Anna’s Welsh Zoo and Folly Farm.

The Coach House can be booked with Gardener’s Cottage (CC631103), The Hen House (CC631104), The Dairy (CC631105), The Bullpen (CC631106), Upper Old Farmhouse (CC631107) and Lower Old Farmhouse (CC631108) to accommodate larger parties of up to 37 guests.

Inside the property was a good size. Outside we were surrounded by what can only be described as a building site. From a health and safety point of view, notification of an unfriendly family pet was given too late!
