A lovely let in a beautiful setting. Enormous garden that our son loved. Clean and well equipped and a friendly welcome by the owner. Would definitely recommend.

Had a totally relaxing time at The Coach House, the owner was away but he still called us from holiday to say hello. Welcomed with fruit, biscuits and a bottle of wine, lovely touch. The cottage has applied the appliances you need, plus there are local shops, pubs and a great mexican restaurant. We took a walk along the canal between Cheddleton and Froghall (5 1/2 miles), then caught the steam train back on the Churnet Valley Railway, fantastic walk, nice and flat along the towpath. Would strongly recommend for a couple who want to relax and get away from it all.

Got off to a bad start, I booked early to avoid price rises only to have the price reduce by £40 before I paid the final amount 10 weeks out but I was still expected the old amount, I can understand with a few weeks to go but the reduction was 15 weeks in advanced. It was comfy and well equipped, the Sky was a nice touch though it was a shame it was connected to the internet which give a best experience. It was one of the best Studio properties we have stayed at. Real downside was the access to the property, restricted drive, narrow roads and a school meant it was a nightmare trying to get to and from the property we seemed to catch school time every time and the parents didn't seem to have a brain cell between them just blocking the road unnecessarily. It was easier to walk the half mile to the chip shop than get the car out, that how bad it was. The speed cameras that were round every corner got very wearing

The Coach House is in a perfect position - it's hidden away and you feel like you're miles out in the country, but you're in the village and ideally placed for exploring the area, or one of the two pubs nearby. :-) The bed is extremely comfy and the facilities are excellent (though one or two more small glasses are needed).

The cottage is in a beautiful location and the views are stunning. The two sets of French doors open up giving a lovely 'al fresco' feel to the cottage which we really love. The accommodation is spacious and well laid out making excellent use of the space. The bed is comfortable. The location is good for visiting National Trust properties and the potteries in Stoke. The property is within extensive, well maintained gardens which guests are welcomed to enjoy. The owner lives in the house on site and he is very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
