A little mix up at the beginning but all soon sorted. The coach house was very comfortable. easy to relax in felt homely. Everything we needed was there. Pauline was very friendly and approachable. Shame there wasn't a dishwasher but to be fair I could manage the few pots we did use. If I was down that area again I would stay again. I will recommend to anyone I know going that way. Local area is a lovely place to visit.

This is our 2nd visit to Somerton Court therefore this speaks volumes that we enjoyed our first visit so much that we went back to stay at The Coach House.

Third time staying at this cottage and was as good as ever. I was a little disappointed that it was not decorated for christmas, as staying previously in December it was.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. As our holiday was in November, the weather as expected was cold but the cottage was warm and cozy. We loved the stone flagged floor and the large beautiful rug in the living room area. The cottage is attached to the very main house (which I would have loved to explore as it dates back many years). Each night we could hear an owl gently hooting and we kept the window open to listen....magical. The cottage is situated in a quiet lane but it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the heart of the village. The only downside was the poor Wifi connection. As our mobiles are on a pay as you go we did not get a good reception at all. Despite this we enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly book this cottage again.

very welcoming owners to a very unusual apartment in an old Manor house. Wonderful grounds to walk around and our dog enjoyed the stay as much as us. Would recommend this holiday stay.

This place is advertised as disabled friendly, beware it is not.The beds were so unsuitable we had to sleep on the sofa's.The wet room is also unsuitable for a disabled person, but,if you like living in a sauna then your ok! it was so hot we did not have to wear any clothes!!! We will definitely not return.

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We were shocked to see this review. This property was designed by an architect for my mother-in-law; it has been used as a disabled holiday let for a number of years. No one in the past has complained about the disabled facilities as you can see by the other reviews. Robert we saw daily when asked if everything was all right, the reply was yes. He was very friendly, talkative and adored our dog Ashley.

lovely cottage, unfortunately there was some traffic noise , noise from the boiler and excessive heat in the cottage due to the hot pipes running through to the main house making it unbearable and necessary to open all of the windows when in property . Also the bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable and creaky. it is a shame because it is a beautiful setting and lovely house
