Really warm welcome from the owners. Not being near local shops / pub and in a rural location was just what we wanted. Felt really spacious.

Can't recommend The Cider House highly enough, location is peaceful and idillic. Birdsong, sheep, no light pollution, excellent base to explore Exmoor and North Devon. The owners are lovely and looked after us. House is cosy and has everything you could wish for and more besides. We had a perfect week.

A lovely cottage, very well equipped, the fresh veg from the owners garden and gift of local bread and milk were lovely and above what you would expect. Very friendly and helpful owner and a lovely location, well situated to explore the area.
