This chapel conversion is the perfect spot for a family holiday or gathering of friends with many activities and attractions for everyone.

Ground Floor:
Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tiled floor.
Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with walk-in shower and toilet (Jack and Jill shared with bedroom 2).
Bedroom 2: With twin beds (one electric).

First Floor:
Living room: With 32’’ Freeview TV with Amazon Firestick, vaulted ceiling and wooden floor.
Bedroom 3: With double bed, 32" freeview TV and en-suite with bath and toilet (also accessed from living room).

Oil fired underfloor central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, hot tub towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Hot tub for 6 (private, available 7.00am-11pm). Private parking for 3 cars, further on street parking. No smoking.

These two lovely holiday properties, each with a private hot tub, are situated within the little village of Cross Inn with a village pub and two shops, just 2 miles from the delightful seaside town of New Quay and the glorious Ceredigion coastline. The former Methodist Penuel Chapel (ref: UK6561), dating back to 1872, has been converted into holiday accommodation, yet retains many original features. The kitchen/dining area is a lovely social space to gather while cooking and dining and leads to the enclosed garden. The piece de resistance though, is the first floor living area, accessed via a beautiful solid oak staircase. It has a stunning curved vaulted ceiling and pitched pine timbers.
Penuel Vestry (ref: UK6562) was originally a stable housing the chapel horse and hearse carriage, before being converted to a vestry. It makes a perfect holiday destination for two guests.
The open plan kitchen and dining space (no freezer or washing machine) is partially screened from the bedroom area, which has a double bed, 40" Freeview TV and a single sofa bed for flexible use. To the front of the Vestry is a sunroom with exposed roof trusses, comfortable sofa and 32" TV. There is also an enclosed garden accessed from a gate on the driveway. There are lovely sandy beaches just a few minutes’ drive away, and if you are bringing your pet, there are several beaches along Cardigan Bay that allow dogs all year around. The pretty town of New Quay clings to the rocks above glistening Cardigan Bay, and there is a variety of eateries and pubs, along with individual seaside shops. Take a stroll along the harbour and try to spot the resident pods of bottle nosed dolphins that can be seen almost daily. Boat trips will take you out into the bay to spot dolphins and other wildlife, including seals. The Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Visitor Centre in New Quay is worth a visit.
A little further afield is Aberaeron, a colourful, Georgian harbour town, Aberystwyth with its pier, promenade and cliff railway and Cardigan, sitting on the mouth of the Teifi estuary and with a fascinating café. In the summer there is a pizza tepee by the estuary where you can often listen to live music while you smell your pizza cooking!
Walkers, cyclists, wildlife enthusiasts, or those who prefer more extreme sports are well catered for, and you can literally lose yourself in the wild undisturbed landscape of hills, mountains, and forests. There are 60 miles of coastal path, and even walking a small section of it is a fantastic way of seeing this beautiful part of west Wales. Whatever you decide to do with your days, the Chapel and the Vestry will be the perfect spot for you to come back to each day to relax. Beach 2 miles, shop 20 yards, another shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 30 yards.
