A beautiful property in a lovely peaceful location. The house was equipped very well, with everything we could possibly need, and the open plan space was great for spending time together as a family. With two small children we did have to drive a bit to get to beaches, days out, etc, but for us the loveliness of the property made it worth it.

Super cottage in fabulous condition. Everything you could wish for was included. The peace and tranquillity is second to none. The local village of Whitland is lovely with a nice range of shops, including a Boots and two traditional butchers. The Station Hotel pub is well worth a visit. This home from home is a great gateway location with easy access to Pembrokeshire.

We loved how the Chapel had been decorated and it was in a beautiful quiet location. We were able to relax. It was 15 minutes away from the nearest beach and the Pembrokeshire coastline and was a great first visit to this area.

We were very happy with The Chapel - other than the lack of any fire/emergency exit from the first floor of the property

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback and were glad you enjoyed your stay. With regard to the fire safety measures, the bedroom windows are designed to open towards the porch roof so can be used as exits in an emergency. We have also fitted Smoke, Heat and Carbon Monoxide alarms as well as emergency lighting, fire extinguisher and fire blanket. We will update the safety section of the information pack to highlight the opening bedroom windows, as this wasn't clear. Thanks again for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

Sadly I cannot agree with many reviews. First we where greeted by an awful smell it was coming from the utility cupboard that was as you come in property. The room was like a junk room it was a mess not what you want to see on holiday having paid £350.00 5 nights. Then the bathroom yes it’s gorgeous however first shower the whole floor flooded the water was not going down I looked and yes the plug was blocked. Husband had no choice but to lift the little trap and wow I have never seen so much horrible gunk in a plug or shower tray this was months worth of hair and gunk. This should be a weekly job. The rest of kitchen was nice except tumble dryer not fit for purpose took 4 hours to dry towels condenser one. And under the edge of the gorgeous sink needed a deep clean black mild everywhere. The cushions on the large corner seating where so full of dog hairs it was unusable. These should be hoovered each week. But the worst thing was the neighbor over the road 1 smokes cannabis all day everyday so the smell in the air is horrible. The other spend the entire time screaming at his kids. The caravan that is falling apart outside the cottage door is not a nice view either. Then the thing that really annoyed me most was the morning we where leaving about 9.30am the owner sat with cleaner in 2 cars outside waiting for us to leave this was not nice to be honest should leave turning up till after checkout 10am as going to and from car having someone watching is rather rude I may as well have been at home. One more thing to add the cottage nextdoor stairway and door is facing the chapels door the person staying was a smoker and smoked out on steps making it very uncomfortable when Wanting to go and take dog out. This is not owners fault but just a reminder that if looking for a private cottage this is not it. Shame really as the chapel all though needs a freshen up windowsills cupboards etc. It was really sweet graveyard was amazing just could not sit out unless you wanted to get high. This is not owners fault but I wish I had known before paying for a 4 star place that is rather like home.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay, especially after leaving such nice feedback in the visitors book. We found it shocking to read as we've only had positive reviews before. We haven’t found anything in the boiler room, and nothing has been reported over Xmas. We will monitor to see if it comes back. We’ve never had any complaints about the neighbours before, in fact we have always found them friendly and welcoming to Chapel guests. We will pay close attention when we are there. With regard to the cleaning issues, we pride ourselves on the Chapel’s cleanliness and will double check these areas in future. We ask the cleaners to wait outside if they arrive early so not to rush departing guests. We’re sorry if they made you feel uncomfortable. We would have welcomed the opportunity to try to fix any of the issues whilst you were there, we are only just down the road.

Very well equipped to a very high standard. So many thoughtful extras like a shoe horn, torch, blankets for the dog. Welcome pack was delightful. Not just milk, tea and coffee but Welsh cakes with butter, fresh eggs and biscuits for the dog. Condiments and oil in the cupboard and foil & cling film in the draw. So many nice touches including fresh flowers. We also made good use of the wood burner with ample supply of logs. Excellent property.

If you have ever wanted to try a converted chapel. Try this one. The thought and effort that has gone into every aspect of the conversion is amazing. It is absolutely beautiful and such a lovely calming place to stay. The quality of finish is fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at the magnificent Chapel. The quirky building with a modern twist was a fantastic home from home for a couple of days. The bathroom was outstanding and we loved the log burner with logs supplied for the duration of your stay. The beds were also very comfortable after a long day of exploring. The Chapel would look brilliant decorated for Christmas.
