We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Chapel, gorgeous location, fabulous cottage, lovely walks to the fishing pond and a fab hostess. Liz has thought of everything and will go the extra mile to make your stay amazing. Thank you Liz, dad loved his 60th birthday weekend away! X

We have stayed at numerous cottages and this ranks amongst the best. It is a wonderfully homely cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage is very well equipped and the games room, badminton and fishing were all enjoyed by the children. The owners and their family were very helpful. We hope to return next year.

What an ace property. The best cottage we have ever stayed in. Beautifully renovated and well equipped. All the equipment worked without fail, unlike some property we've used in the past. David and Liz were about to ask questions of we needed to know anything and we're always keen to know what we had been exploring in the area, plus they had good suggestions beyond those we had thought of. It was truly like a home from home and being in a rural setting was totally relaxing, all of us felt comfortable from the moment the door was opened. Location for finding fun things for the family to do was good, we spent time at the beaches to the north of Bideford, running and cycling down the Tarka trail, exploring the rugged coast and woodland to the immediate north of the cottage, not to mention the odd cream tea here and there. We didn't really tick off all the bits and bobs on the list we prepared, so will have to come back at some point. Thanks David and Liz for renting out this little slice of Devon Heaven to holiday makers. Oh and one more thing. If your in the area visit Squires restaurant in Braunton. Lovely food, great service..... But you should book up as folk queue down the high street waiting for a table, we were very lucky and got a table when passing by on the off chance.
