The Chalet is a detached, wooden, single-storey lodge situated in the owner’s 2-acres grounds. Accessed by a track, the accommodation is open plan, and French doors open from the pretty patio into the living/sleeping area. This wee cottage has access to the gardens from both ends of the property, making it light, bright and very private. It is ideal for couples looking for a holiday in Highlands within easy access of Inverness and the charming coastal villages of the Black Isle. There are wonderful walks direct from the cottage with trails and hill walks up onto Ord Hill, a well-known beauty spot. Inverness is just 3 miles away and here there are plenty of facilities as well numerous places of interest. A visit to Culloden Battlefield, a walk along the side of the famous River Ness and a trip to Cawdor Castle, famous for its connections with Macbeth, are all popular with visitors. There are lovely beaches just 10 minutes’ drive away, and along the coastline there are plenty of opportunities to encounter the bottle-nosed dolphins that are resident in the Moray Firth. Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
