The Bungalow offers lovingly furnished accommodation in the picturesque village of Kettlewell, near the historic town of Skipton. This detached bungalow is set all on one level and boasts the most breathtaking views from its windows out over the renowned Wharfe valley, whose river flows through some of the most magnificent countryside in Yorkshire.
The accommodation is within easy walking distance of the shops, impressive St Mary’s church and three characterful inns where you can stop for a snack, a gourmet meal or some of the finest locally brewed beers and wines. Hill walking, cycling, canoeing, potholing and pony trekking are all easily available or you can just relax around the village with its beautiful views and welcoming pubs, restaurants and cafés.
Kettlewell is the ideal base for visiting the market town of Skipton with its famous castle, Harrogate for spas, shops, and restaurants, York for its rich heritage and the ‘James Herriot country’, of Coverdale, Wensleydale and Swaledale. Kettlewell was also the main setting for the internationally famous film, The Calendar Girls.
The Bungalow benefits from the addition of a ’garden room’ leading from the living room, with lovely views of Wharfedale from the triple aspect picture windows. The large living room features a large Smart TV and a cosy open fire for the cooler evenings.
