Although well-presented, this is an extremely small cottage. I’m only 5’2” and bumped my head in the bedroom several times. The shower cubicle is very narrow. Very pleasant owners, but the statement that you could walk by the river was not quite true as there was a field of cows with their calves in the way.

A lovely barn conversion with its very welcoming owners resident on site, ready to help with any problems that may arise (we didn't find any though). The rural location suited us with lots of adjacent walking but, if necessary, it is only a short drive to nearby towns. The layout of the building is quirky and requires a small degree of agility as the bedroom is in the eaves, apart from that it was a lovely property that has been well maintained. We'll be back next year, hopefully!
