I was very impressed with the location , the views were amazing , the horses and livestock enhanced the view. The owner offered initial information , and then i was left alone to thoroughly enjoy the Dales. The Cottage was warm even at night , very quiet & peaceful. I have recommended the Briar to my sisters , and would hope to book it again later on in the year

Brilliant little cottage in wonderful setting with great hosts. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay but as we stayed for two weeks, which was exceptional circumstances, we would have really appreciated a washing machine and ironing facilities. My fault as didn't check and under normal circumstances this is probably not necessary so we understand and we really enjoyed our stay even in bad winter weather we were warm and cosy. Thank you. We have no hesitation in recommending the cottage.
