Located on the site of an award-winning farm shop, food hall and small outlet village, The Beauty Shed can be found in the Lancashire village of Samlesbury, on the edge of the beautiful Ribble Valley. As the name suggests, once offering beauty treatments, the lodge has now been completely transformed into calm and tranquil holiday accommodation complete with private hot tub. All on one level, inside you will find a sociable open plan living space with fully functional kitchen; although with an on-site restaurant open 7 days a week, you may not need to use it much! There is also a wine shop and ice cream parlour on-site for you to enjoy. If you fancy exploring the area by bike, there is an electric bike hire shop on-site. Two comfortable double bedrooms offer direct access to the hot tub area, where you will also find a cute little summerhouse to take shelter in on chillier evenings.

If you can bring yourself to leave the lodge and site, a mere 5-minute drive will take you to the fabulous, Grade I listed Samlesbury Hall, a stunning stately home and restaurant. Hoghton Tower is a local historical visitor attraction worth a visit, and the Wildlife Trust’s Brockholes Nature Reserve can be reached in just 5 minutes, providing 250 acres of natural beauty together with an iconic floating visitor village to explore. The location just off the M6 motorway means easy access to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and the Lake District National Park all in under an hour. Finally, the glorious, unspoilt landscapes of the Ribble Valley, including the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are on your doorstep. Beach 24 miles. Shop and restaurant on-site, pub ½ mile.

Absolutely loved our stay at the beauty shed. It really is a lovely lodge, really cosy inside but spacious at the same time. The outside area is lovely and our dog loved having a nosey and running around. It’s completely enclosed and very secure. The hot tub was great and there was a lovely little summer house. A home from home.

Myself and my wife visited The Beauty Shed with our 1 year old daughter and little dog for a couple of days to celebrate immediately after getting married. It did not disappoint! Christine and John were superb, upon arrival they couldn’t do enough for us to settle us in and any questions we had they were happy to answer. The gorgeous little place was spotless and was perfect. Secure garden for the dog. Beautiful hot tub. Gorgeous rustic little cabin. Local amenities were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will most definitely be returning for our anniversary! Thank you again to Christine & John!

Myself and two friends visited The Beauty Shed for a relaxing girly weekend to celebrate my birthday and we were not disappointed!! The property itself was immaculate and so quaint and snug. The garden area is very secluded and when you're sat in the hot tub you feel like there isn't another soul for miles despite the shops on site. We will be coming back. Fantastic value for money, it was just what we all needed to escape from reality for a long weekend!

We had the best half term getaway at the beauty shed, it’s so beautifully decorated and clean. Much roomier than we expected too. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the hot tub every morning and trips into Blackpool to see the illuminations. Would not hesitate to book again :)

Fantastic place to stay. There were lots of things included that we didn’t expect tea, coffee, sugar, butter, sauces and spices to name just a few, also little personal touches were a nice surprise.

We loved staying there. Amazing hosts and such a lovely lodge and garden. We would definitely go back, and we rarely say that. So much to do and see locally as well!
