    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I am so sorry to read your comments about your recent stay at The Beach Hut. You are the first guests to have stayed there over Christmas. We thought that the small tree would have been an added extra and are sorry to hear that the batteries were flat. Regarding the cooking facilities we have never had complaints before but I would tend to agree with you that it would have been challenging cooking Xmas dinner. I can only apologise once more and hope that you did enjoy Christmas.

Overall the Beach Hut is very good. It would benefit from either a rotary clothes dryer or a better clothes line. The garden boarders were full of weeds, somewhat neglected. It also proved difficult to contact the owner prior to our arrival.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; On reading your review we would like to inform you that we have now totally redone the garden, making it maintenance free and enjoyable to sit in. We have also installed a retractable clothes line. I would like to thank you for your comments and do hope that you enjoyed your stay.

A surprisingly spacious property, clean and well equipped - and very close to the beach promenade, with almost no passing traffic. The front bedroom is vast with its south facing balcony. Sit and enjoy the view of the sea! The house is a 1960s/70s period piece, which may explain why some find the decoy dated.

Our second time at the Beach Hut. Located in a perfect position, on the doorstep of the town, yet in a peaceful location very near to the seafront. Really enjoyed our stay and would return again.
