On the dramatic south Cornish coast, this beautiful 3-storey town house is situated on a holiday park with use of some fantastic on-site facilities. Talland Bay sits between Looe and Polperro, which is littered with sandy beaches and secret coves, and backed by soaring cliff tops where you will find the South West Coastal Path hugging the shoreline and providing panoramic views out to sea and along the coast. The Bay, Talland, is an exclusive development of coastal lodges and houses with its own indoor pool (shared with 45 other houses on the site) and landscaped grounds, providing the ideal place to relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and coastline.
Whitsand Bay is characterised by sheer, high cliffs, dramatic scenery and long stretches of sandy beaches, perfect for a picnic. Spend a day at The Eden Project, with the world’s largest rainforest in captivity with steamy jungles and waterfalls, cutting-edge architecture and buildings, stunning year-round garden displays, world-class sculpture and art, evening gigs, concerts and an ice rink in the winter, educational centre and much more. Cawsand and Kingsand are twin villages in south east Cornwall. They are situated on the Rame Peninsula. Siblyback Lake is surrounded by the striking Bodmin Moor and offers a wide range of activities beside or on the water. Rowing boat hire is a popular family activity, and the outdoor centre offers sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and provides top quality rainbow trout fishing. Courses for beginners and improvers are readily available, as is self-launch for the more experienced.
Soar across the flooded quarry at Adrenalin Quarry, with speeds that’ll get your heart pumping. There’s nothing like it in the UK and it’s suitable for all ages. The town of Looe is situated around a small harbour and along the steep-sided valley of the River Looe, which flows between east and west Looe, to the sea beside a sandy beach. Off shore to the west, opposite the stonier Hannafore Beach lays the picturesque St George’s island, commonly known as Looe Island. Carnglaze Caverns makes a fantastic day out, there are three caverns of cathedral proportions, hand created by local slate miners. During your tour you will go about 150 metres into the hillside and 60 metres below ground, via a flight of 60 steps. In the lower chambers you will find the subterranean lake with its crystal clear blue/green water.
Fowey is situated on the south coast of Cornwall between Looe and Mevagissey. It’s not only a historic town but is also a commercial seaport. Over the centuries Fowey has grown and now stretches for about a mile along the west bank of the river. Golf, surfing, horse riding, kayaking and swimming are all available nearby. Beach ¼ mile. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Small lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Shared 12-acre landscaped grounds. Shared indoor heated swimming pool (39ft x 19.5ft, open February-December) with shower and changing facilities. Shared sauna. Private parking for 1 car; extra spaces allocated on arrival. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole and an unfenced pool in the grounds.

    Good accommodation but could do with a play area onsite and maybe a few supplies like bread, milk and ice creams. Road in and out is very narrow why they don’t make one way I have no idea as saw many jams as vehicle sometimes four in a row having to reverse. Because of the road would have been nice to have more facilities onsite. Dishwasher didn’t get used much as although only six in an eight person house not enough crockery etc. Cleaners didn’t do a very good job but site did rectify when advised.

    Narrow lane to get to the place was a bit tricky. Once there house 9 is 50 yards from the swimming pool and 20yards to the outdoor olnge pool. Parking space is right out the front and access is easy. House was well equipped and well kept , would stay here again

    A lovely lodge on a fantastic site. Next time however I would book direct through the site for a cheaper week, Talland bay.

    Lacking in easily accessible facilities for food shopping. Looe not particularly for good for food shopping.
