My husband and I have just returned from here and we have to say that it's one of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had! The score of 5 for local amenities is purely because it's so far out into the countryside. That's not a negative at all! However you've got Launston about 12 miles away for supplies and the sleepy village of Camelford about 5 miles away! Highlights were Padstow, wide mouth Bay and Port Issac where we stumbled across the cast filming "fisher mans friends, which apparently is out in Cinemas next year! We would definitely go back!

Great cottage with a warm welcome and tour by the owners. Facilities brilliant with all modern living essentials in such a rustic atmosphere. Located close to many coastal resorts and plenty of great local pubs within a short drive. Nearest supermarket 10 miles away. Would recommend The Barm highly.
