A spacious and characterful beamed property just 4 miles from Leominster and with an outdoor adventure centre close by.

This spacious, traditionally decorated and characterful beamed property is just 4 miles from Leominster where a popular market is held each Friday. The Arbour adjoins the owners’ home and is conveniently located in the pretty village of Kingsland, boasting two pubs, tennis courts, play areas, a church, Post Office and tea rooms, all within walking distance. This is a perfect holiday cottage retreat for all ages, maybe a cosy night in by one of the wood burners or its ideal for families who enjoy the outdoors. There is a range of animals to keep the children amused, including alpacas, goats and pigs, or keep your furry friends entertained with a walk in the lawned garden area.

Oaker Wood Leisure is just outside the village, and can entertain families and adults alike with paintballing, quad biking and more (please note this is for advanced group bookings only). Luctonians Rugby and Sports Club has an array of activities all year round, depending on the month you can laze and watch some cricket or a fun filled game of rugby. Kingsland is an ideal destination to combine and explore Herefordshire’s beautiful walks and history. The property is close to two wonderful National Trust properties - Berrington Hall and Croft Castle, the 30-mile Mortimer Trail passes through Croft with circular walks in-between. Other walks close by include Offa’s Dyke, the Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills, and all are within a 40-minute drive.

The city of Hereford boasts the famous Mappa Mundi, a cathedral and the River Wye meanders through. Why not hire a kayak and take in Hay-on-Wye, famous for its books and of course the Hay Festival which takes place in May and June each year? Bring a bike and explore the many cycle routes, including the Black and White Trail, where you can be taken back in time to the pretty villages of Dilwyn, Weobley, Pembridge and Eardisland. Venture into the neighbouring county of Shropshire and explore the town of Ludlow, with its bespoke shops, a variety of weekly markets and a castle. Visitors come from all over to Ludlow for its September Food Festival. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

11 of us stayed for a reunion weekend. Fab having en suite in every room and plenty of utensils. Lovely village with 2 great pubs, but not open all day. Great walks straight from the cottage. No music player. Good value for a large group

A beautiful country house in a small village. The children loved the animals and playing in the garden. The hot tub was an awesome addition. We couldn't fault the property and the owners were very friendly and discreet. I would highly recommend this holiday home and will be visiting again.

Ideal for a family celebration, which went well. There are plenty of rooms, all en suite, with everything needed for the family. It would have been nice to have internet throughout, but due to the size of the property I can appreciate the limitations of the WiFi. The grounds are safe and secure for children; however the very busy main road alongside the property can get a little noisy, but overall we all enjoyed the break.

Lovely cottage overall but could have done with hand towels in the bathrooms and extra towels for the hot tub. Also toiletries provided did not include shampoo. Also had no kindling and the WiFi didn’t work but we managed!

Lovely location with the owners on hand to help. Had a couple of minor blips but the owners came over straight away to sort them out. Also baked us a lovely cake on arrival! Would definitely recommend and have already done so !
