This 19th century, semi-detached holiday cottage lies adjacent the owner’s Tudor farmhouse with 30 acres of farmland. Set 50 yards from a minor road, deep in the countryside, it is perfect for relaxing. Only 6 miles off the A30, it is easy to reach and centrally placed for exploring all areas of Cornwall; Eden and Heligan are 7 miles, Charelestown and Porthpean beach 4 miles, Truro is close by and has a theatre, cinema, museum and river trips to Falmouth. St Austell with all facilities, 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Small patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Use of owner’s garden and woodland area with garden furniture (shared). Bike store. Private parking 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond and lake in the grounds.

    Super cottage, all fully set up, everything in good working order, both bedrooms had en suite, which was lovely, fresh flowers were a nice touch, personally I thought this cottage gave value for money, great location to visit local areas such as Mevagissy, Charles town, Truro, Boscastle just under an hours drive away as is Port Issac (where Doc Martin is filmed) all in all fabby, my youngest was so excited when we arrived and explored the house...what memories are made of.... Thank you

    Bearing in mind there is an ongoing 'complaint' with reference to our stay:- The only comment I would make is that it was sparse in kitchen equipment. The cutlery was ''dangerously'blunt. There was no steel for sharpening. The scissors were useless! The glass kettle had seen better days and in fact was showing rust on the inside (base) the lid was broken and the chrome was peeling off leaving very sharp edges. The Cooker (Dark green and Black) - the numbers on the dials were unreadable and it was complete hit and miss as to what temperature was reached. I have photos to back above statements if required

    Fabulous little cottage very handy for all area's to visit. Cottage was well equipped. Not too far of the main road.

    A quaint cottage with everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay. We loved walking through the fields and feeding the fish of an evening. The owner and neighbours were very chatty and friendly. Lovely peaceful location but with good access to the Cornish area.

    The owners made us very welcome but we feel that the Apple Store needs to be refurbished. Everything is very dated and we found the beds particularly uncomfortable. The location is ideal for touring Cornwall and the surroundings are lovely.

    A nicely located cottage in a quite area, let down by its cleanliness. It needs a good deep clean and some TLC.
