Lovely cottage in an equally lovely location. We loved the games room and the views over the firth. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable.

Not suitable for pets. On arrival we were told by the owner that dogs were not allowed on the carpets. We were also informed that some guests slept in the garage to accommodate their dogs. My son slept on the sofa for the whole week as the dogs are used to being on a blanket in his room, he would not leave them downstairs on their own in a strange property. He could not use the downstairs bedroom as my husband and myself needed that room being elderly, but it was also carpeted. If this ruling is to continue, then it should be highlighted on the website or be a “ not pet friendly” property.
