The couple who own the annexe were nice but the annex was not very modern and needed some upgrading and repair to the shower and the roof to the utility rooms and outside door. The shower had a very dangerous diy step that you had to use to get into it with and there was dry root that you could see behind the step under the shower base. The roof of the utility room was leaking and the outside door was in a need of repair as it would not close. The was a problem with the fence around the annexes patio area that needed to be repaired as we could not let our two dogs go out there was a aggressive dog to stay next door mid-week

This was a great base to use to explore the area, have visited many towns including seasides and country parks to walk the dogs. You do need to be 'early risers' to stay here, as the dogs next door do like to bark!!

The property its self had everything you need a home from home, but the beds are very old and need to be changed . Although the property was in good order I felt it need a good spring clean. In closed garden was about 2ft of patio area, we where told we could use the rest of the garden , which was lovely but they had a dog sitting service 3 days while we where there , and the dogs werent very friendley so garden out of bounds.
