Lovely relaxing place to stay and the area is very dog friendly,Don’t expect a lot to do at night in the area as it is either sitting in bars or eating but the locals are very friendly. The Anchorage is fully equipped and has a lovely secure back yard to keep any size dog safe, I gave a score of 9 for comfort and equipment because the dishwasher was awaiting repair

Enjoyed my stay, and some nice touches have been added to the Anchorage, but the building needs to be aired more as the smell of damp was overwhelming in some of the bedrooms, and clung to the sheets ... Please dont be put off by this as the price was reasonable for the accomodation, but I would also add the floor needed a good scrub too.. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for..

Superb property, very well thought out and was truly "home from home". Beds were super comfortable; shower had masses of power so no need to run around the bath to catch the drops of water; very comfortable furniture. Access to amenities was superb. The Swan and The |New Inn served wonderful meals as well as the Bure River Cottage Restaurant - a bit more expensive but well worth the treat whilst on holiday.

We had a lovely time at The Anchorage. Its perfect for my mother who has reduced mobility and cant climb stairs. All on ground floor no steps and ramps provided. Light and airy, everything is new as its only been open a year. Local area is brilliant, shops are meters away as is a food pub and a boat trip for touring the broads.

Despite the atrocious weather the whole family enjoyed an action packed 3 days with boat trips, train rides, art gallery visit & full use of Netflix on the gigantic TV !

Had a lovely holiday staying at The Anchorage. Situated in the perfect location in Horning making it easy to explore both the village and Norfolk as a whole. The pictures don't do justice to the size and space available in the property. Would almost certainly stay here again if it was available.

Apartment was extremely comfortable and in a beautiful location. Tom very helpful and polite. The only negative was there was not enough cutlery and crockery due to type of food served at time of year. Had to purchase plastic flute glasses as no wine glasses.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We have taken your comments on board and have now added some wine glasses.
