A private hot tub awaits - lie back and count the stars. Ideal for couples to relax and unwind.

Located just 150 yards from a glorious sandy beach, this spacious detached cottage is located within the private grounds of the owners house. The Abbey Lodge has a private entrance to the front of the property, and a decked patio area, set in an enclosed lawned/rockery garden to the rear, which boasts its own blissful covered hot tub, perfect for relaxation at any time of the year.
The cottage is an upside-down house providing a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and kitchen to the ground floor and a super spacious living/dining room on the first floor.
Abbey Lodge is well positioned to access the many coves and beaches of Trearddur Bay as well as the many sports available in the area, from diving and water sports to golf and spectacular walks. Pubs, restaurants and the village shop and post office are all within a short walk. Beach 55 yards. Shop and restauarant ½ mile, pub 150 yards.

Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with double shower cubicle and toilet.

    lovely location and very secure. Well equipped, only small thing missing was a grill pan/baking trays for the oven. I did find the living room a little cold even with the heating on as I was very conscious of the electricity costs as it is on a coin meter. However this was partly to do with Storm Calum which was extreme weather! The hot tub was lovely and relaxing.

    My wife and I have just returned home from a 7 day stay at this lovely cottage. We can only sing the praises of the owners, Anne & Dave. They truly looked after us from the minute we arrived at their lovely holiday home. They live adjacent to the cottage and are always on hand should you need them, not that we ever did. The cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean. To contradict other reviews, we found the owners extremely dog friendly, offering a very warm welcome to our Clumber Spaniel and us alike. The enclosed garden was ideal and the hot tub was an added bonus. I would like to make it known that the hot tub was spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest level, being cleaned, emptied and recharged 3 times during our stay. Overall, we would consider this little gem to be one of the best holiday rental homes we have ever stayed at. I would love to be able to return next year and will try and book it as soon as it becomes available. A beautiful cottage in a lovely area made more enjoyable by the owners. Thank you for helping make our holiday so memorable.

    This property could/should be almost perfect. However it hadn’t been cleared properly and the ensuite plumbing is inadequate. The hot tub water hadn’t been changed and was done so mid week at our request. We didn’t use the BBQ as we didn’t think it was our job to clean it first. The dining furniture has been moved upstairs- which can be an issue with hot food being carried. We understand that the owners had some difficult circumstances while we were there and this may have reflected on our experience but felt we should give an honest review

    Response on behalf of the Owner; The Abbey Lodge is an upside down house, housing the lounge/diner upstairs, making with an additional bedroom to the ground floor. All our guests are notified before their arrival of the changes to the cottage, any concerns you had about the change could have been dealt with before arrival. The Lodge is cleaned by myself to the highest standard. The hot tub is emptied and cleaned each changeover and is crystal clear for all guests arrivals, there are clear instructions and precautions advised on show! We certainly didn’t have a problem changing it midweek on your request! Our staff are on call 24 hours should any problems arise whether small large or even plumbing. Which has now been thoroughly checked over as we weren't advised what the problem was. Result being 100% good working order! We don’t appreciate the words “difficult circumstances” being mentioned, which I feel I now have to explain as a medical emergency. We as our guests do consider privacy very important and certainly would never reflect in any way the standard of the cottage we adhere to for our guests, we’re sorry you feel this way.

    A lovely little cottage a stones throw from some small beaches & 5min from Trearrdur Bay. Several pubs/restaurants & a couple of small convenience stores nearby too. Cottage was wonderful, a real home-from-home providing more than just the basics. Owners were also friendly and helpful.
