Everything has been thought of here including a lovely welcome pack. Couldn't fault anything at the cottage and had a brilliant holiday which was helped by fantastic weather. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic trip we had here at Ty Sam! Definitely one we'll never forget and I've already been telling friends to check it out if they're looking for a holiday in the area. The cottage had everything you would need for a week away from home, all the small details had been thought of and the welcome gifts of a few food/drink treats were wonderful. This was a real escape from the busyness of daily life and we took full advantage of the wonderful surrounding countryside. A nice walk to the local beach on our first evening to watch the sunset was magical and we spent a couple of late afternoons enjoying a cuppa in the sunshine in the garden. All Snowdon routes within easy reach (by car) and plenty to do and see in the surrounding areas. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and always on hand for advice and guidance. Would definitely return!

We fell in love instantly and had a lovely week in our little cottage. We were surprised at how they had thought of everything even down to dish washer tablets! The views from the cottage were amazing and the walk to the beach was great for us and our little dog. We had such a warm welcome from the owners and the goodies they left for us were a lovely touch. We couldn’t really fault anything and highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend or week away in north wales. The right distance from the beach and the towns. Will be telling all our family and friends about Ty Sam and look forward to visiting again.

It is a great cottage near beautiful beach. Very clean. You got all you need in the accomodation. The only downside was the heating. It was set on 18C and you could set it up during day which was fine, but not during night, so you woke up quite cold in the morning.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you very much for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the issue you had with the temperature within the property. Our heating system turns off at 10pm and turns back on 6am. If you had made us aware of the issue you had, we could have adjusted the settings for you. Once again, thank you for your comments.

We had a lovely 4 night stay from 17-21 February 2018. We were very lucky with the weather too. The cottage itself is lovely and spotlessly clean. My only minor nag is the sofa is a little small for 2 to lounge comfortably at night. Suppose in summer this would not be an issue as you can sit in the garden and watch the stars with a nice glass of something cold! Located perfectly for some lovely walks to the local beach and round town. Also convenient drive for many attractions although most of them were closed in February. The nearest shop is a Tesco which is a car drive away but we took most of our provisions anyway. The owner is a really lovely accommodating guy who left us some treats on our arrival. Already checking out prices for another visit for summer. The cottage is very dog friendly but we didn't find the local town so accommodating but again in summer you could eat outside of the establishments.
