Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Synderford Lodge is perfect in all seasons; with a beautiful garden, conservatory and a multi-fuel burner in the living room.

Peacefully set down a private drive, on the edge of the village of Thorncombe, this pretty, detached, flint holiday cottage has a natural sloping garden which leads steeply to an unfenced pond and stream (small children will need supervision). In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to Beaminster, Bridport and Axminster, and 9 miles from Lyme Regis and the world famous Heritage Jurassic Coast, this is an excellent location to explore west Dorset and east Devon. Visit Forde Abbey and Gardens and Montacute House, and enjoy beautiful country walking on the Wessex Ridgeway, Jubilee and Monarch Trails. For eating, there are many excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, farm shops with local produce, as well as a couple of supermarkets, plus a well-stocked community run village shop, which is open 7 days a week. Shop/café and pub 1 mile.

Cottage beautifully presented and generously provided with equipment and materials. Owner has obviously considered the needs and comforts of the holiday maker to give value for money Location is stunning in a beautiful location in a rural natural minor estate with many established ancient trees
