Beautiful house which perfectly suited our needs in a great location. Anne’s personal greeting upon arrival was a nice touch. Lots of toys & DVD’s to keep our 5-year old entertained. Would definitely return & highly recommend to others.

Swinden School House is a delightful cottage in a very rural setting. The cottage is well equiped, comfortable, clean and cosy. The owner, Ann, is very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is in quite a remote setting but with a very quaint and welcoming pub almost next door. The food at the Roggerham Gate Inn was typical pub grub but second to none and inexpensive. The biggest downside is that at the cottage there is no mobile phone signal, no landline telephone but there is WiFi although this dropped out a lot with the inclement weather so we felt very isolated.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review, sorry to hear you felt isolated but that you enjoyed your stay at the cottage.
