The advantage of this cottage is that it is to two minute walk to Looe Town centre. Disadvantages are: there is no parking so you have to pay an additional £42.50 for parking across the river; the fixtures inside the property are antiquated with a tiny TV that pixilated on most channels, the oven is a nightmare to light and you can barely swing a cat in the kitchen. There is an outside loo at the back of the property, accessed via a wooden rear door with a cracked single glazed window above the door. The outside toilet roof leaks when its raining. The bathroom on the second floor is accessed by the back bedroom with steps either side, so if you need the loo in the middle of the night you are likely to wake anyone sleeping in the back bedroom as you need the light on to navigate the steps. The back bedroom light didn't work half the time. During heavy rain the neighbours downpipes leak keeping anyone sleeping in the back bedroom awake, likewise anyone sleeping in the front bedroom will be affected by traffic passing through Looe which is extremely busy during the holiday season. Access to the property is via steep steps and steep ramp, climbing around 20 metres so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Likewise the steps leading the bedrooms are very steep. The property is fitted with a pre pay electricity meter but we did not have to top the meter up. The beds were comfortable and clean but we had to clean all the cutlery in the kitchen. There is a decked area to the front of the property but the parasol does not fit the table. I will not be staying at this property again. The view of the river and the property location does not make up for the deficiencies inside this property.

Just returned from a week in Looe staying at the Sunrise cottage. Fabulous location near to all of Looe's delights. Lovely view over Looe harbour. Scones, jam, clotted cream and milk welcoming pack was really appreciated after a long journey. Cottage is characterful and comfortable, would and have already recommended to family and friends. Millpool carpark is a 5 minute walk from sunrise where you can buy a weeks ticket. Very happy overall 
